I am an enthusiastic Systems Engineer, dedicated to completing work to a high standard and providing a good customer relationship. I have over 10 years expeirence working within the fire and security industry, I have kept up to date with indusrty legeslation and technological advances. I am always willing to learn, I intend to further my qualifications by enrolling onto a part time foundation degree course in the future. I work well on my own and as part of a team, I manage my own workload of which 85% is maintenance, reactive fault calls, and small works for Carmarthenshire County Council. I often carry out commissioning work, this requires me to ensure new systems have been installed to the required specification and complete all relevent test readings and documentation. I possess an in-depth knowledge of electronics, I often work to PCB level on systems. I am experienced at working to NSI Gold, SP203 and FIA standards. I am concious of the importance of health and saftey, I am able to produce risk and method statments. I am experienced at working in different environments both indoors and outdoors including industrial, commercial, petrochemical, schools, local authority, steel manufacturing, data/server buildings, military testing facilities and residential sites.
