Austerymn are an old school Death Metal band from the UK. A made up word from Austere and Hymn = Austerymn (OR-Steer-Rim). This time registering the name to!!!We released the “When Silence Drowns The Screams” Demo in 2007, selling 200 and giving a further 200 away on a MySpace campaign “i.e. the first 200 get it for free!!”However we were not happy with the results of the recording, we had grown as musicians, and this style I was personally finding dull to play. There was also a tendency to want to start adding more gothic/symphonic elements which I seriously wanted to avoid!Over the next few years we experimented with styles Funeral Doom? Progressive? Searching for a style! Then in a band meeting it came down to “What do we like? What makes us rage? What’s fun? What is the DM album we all wish we’d recorded?”Left Hand Path, Like An Ever Flowing Stream, Dark Recollections, Into The Grave, etc etc.But we’d be accused of being a clone band?My answer - “Who cares? I’ve spent the last 20+ years doing original music trying to be different! I’m 37 years old, I wanna have fun, put out some CD’s and 12” vinyl, play some shows and above all have FUN”So here we are 2013, Busy writing and it’s going well. Here in your hands you hold the first 2 songs we have come up with, and the others are coming on so well.Influences Nihilist, Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Grave, Nirvana 2002, God Macabre, Autopsy etc. Unashamed proud to play a style we grew up with and LOVE.Ok accuse us of worship and cloning....But we do it well!!!Enjoy.

I am a firm believer in teaching each student what they want to learn and what I think they need to learn. This includes all aspects of guitar playing such as theory, technique & composition. I also have a vast amount of experience and knowledge of guitar equipment such as amplifiers, effects and guitar related computer software, which I will happily pass on to a student if they wish. I also encourage all my students, once they have aquired enough information, to compose their own music so they can apply what they are learning and discover their own, unique voice on the instrument.My aim is to prepare each student to be able to play guitar confidently in any musical situation in a variety of styles.By combining my own methods with the RGT electric guitar syllabus I offer tuition that is tailored to each students needs and abilities. No matter if you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player looking to improve, I can help you.Private lessons are available in the comfort of your own home at a standard charge of £20.00 per hour within the Mid Cheshire area. Equipment is available for lesson use if you do not have your own.I also offer bespoke group guitar tuition to schools, collages and other professional organisations. Teaching from a structured course, sessions can be taylor made to suit. 5 pupils max per group. 1/2 hour sessions £5.00 1 hour sessions £10.00 per pupil.(Children between ages 5-11, 1/2 hour sessions only)No repair job too big or too small, From changing strings to pickups, paintjobs to full custom builds, rewires or just a plain old service to improve playability of an instrument.
