From joining as a Contract Engineer in April 2013, I was offered a full time position within a month at a senior level. Within a year and a half I was promoted to an Executive level.I have presented to my peers at the national Hoare Lea conference which was about our work in France and the challenges we had learning how to work in a different country and dealing with varying regulations and methodology.Throughout my time at Hoare Lea I have inputted frequently into the technical control group, updating the company specifications to relate to new requirements and regulations. I have also produced many technical guidance notes that are circulated throughout the company. One of my responsibilities is to aid younger engineers and their development, often providing my advice from my previous experiences.I have lead several projects and am involved with planning projects, resourcing engineers and delivering projects to tight timelines. I am very much involved in dealing with and interfacing with Clients.

As director, I was involved in all aspects of the business, from managing staff, costing projects, designing and installation project management. As a company, we were mainly retail oriented installers, working for several clients such as Clarks Shoes, Lakeland leather, H&M, Fat Face and many other local retail and leisure clients. As well as offering the installation service, I also provided a design facility for the retail & commercial clients which involved all Building Control Applications, Planning applications and general store design/layouts to be used on site.
