I have been a qualified accountant and registered tax agent since 1974. After completing my initial training at a major accounting firm I took a position at my father's accounting practice and was admitted as partner in 1978. The practice grew rapidly serving small business clients throughout Victoria and as far away as Queensland. In 1992 I merged my practice with that of Brahm Goethals, whom he had known from my student days at RMIT to establish our present expanded practice known as Nicol & Nicol Pty Ltd. I specialise in providing traditional accounting and tax advice to a diverse range of clients with a strong involvement in financial planning and self managed superannuation funds.Our aim is to provide a very personal approach to tax and all it's consequences, with a focus on protecting our clients.
