Having been made redundant from the oil & gas industry after 20 years of many ups and downs, I have decided to go it alone and make my hobby, my career. Had a fantastic time while working in oil and have been to and seen many places that I would never have had if it were not for the jobs I did. Overall responsibility for the Global Field Service department.

Responsible for managing the service department which covers UK, Europe, Africa & CIS.Sales Account manager for CIS, Russia and Ukraine - also responsible for a number of clients in UK.

Scope of Work: Working on mudline and surface equipment, including running conductor pipe and other casing strings and the necessary hangers, wellheads, Xmas trees and associated equipment required for each job. I have worked both as part of a team and on my own, when on my own I am fully responsible for the job. The work involves ensuring all the correct equipment is on the rig to carry out the job and making sure that all the equipment is tested and measured, with ID's & OD's being verified, then running the equipment as per the running procedures.At present I am currently working a rotation on the Nexen Buzzard Project. I am based on the Galaxy 3 drilling rig where I have the full responsibility of all aspects of the work carried out by Dril-Quip on the facility. The work for this job covers all aspects of running the surface equipment and tools associated with this, from the spud of the well to the completion and subsequent handover of the well to the platform.

Scope of Work: Field inspection of Hydril premium connections on tubing, casing, drill pipe and tools used in exploration and production of oil and gas. I also assist and supervise in the running of these products whilst on board offshore and onshore rigs and to train various personnel in the different characteristics of the Hydril Tubular product range. Meeting with customers and discussing their requirements for forthcoming jobs including co-ordinating the field service needs. Organising flights, hotels and any visa's required for both myself and the other service representatives. Also preparing sales invoices and processing purchase orders from both field service work and rental of products.
