I am excited to begin a PhD at Harper Adams in partnership with Morrisons investigating the relationship between biodiversity and carbon net zero farming. Over the coming months I will be documenting how projects that reduce the carbon footprint on farms that supply Morrisons and the Harper Adams farm impact biodiversity. Therefore, I am looking to engage with people and organisations that are focused on sustainable food production.I am a dependable, competitive and loyal individual and have vast experience of teamwork and leadership. 10 years as a Royal Marine Commando taught me vital life skills and has given me life experiences all across the globe. A particular highlight was teaching, coaching and mentoring recruits. This was a highly rewarding role and I was grateful for the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experiences.I live in the Shropshire countryside using spare time to keep fit/active and keeping in touch with friends and family. Although my studies and kids leave precious little spare time!
