Joining the UK Security, Safety and Crisis Management senior leadership team with responsibility for the UK & its interests in overseas destinations. Leading a team of Security & Operation Risk executives to establish key risk assurances to the business over operational risk matters, with a keen focus on Retail, Head Office, Cruise and Airline functions. To ensure that losses remained low and cost efficiencies were managed in agreed frameworks utilising SLA's with suppliers and establishing a routine for a robust compliance culture in the UK Markets and beyond.

Head of department responsible for Regulatory Compliance and the Corporate Security functions for the UK & Ireland business. Direct line management of a team of Risk and Compliance and Security Officers with overall responsibility for business areas including cruise ships, destinations and over 600 retail stores. Security Policy management and loss prevention frameworks to protect business assets through positive prevention tactics, effective incident response and professional investigation management.

Employed by the business with the objective to improve overall incident response, investigation management and provide a structured frame work to reduce loss and the number of criminal incidents that staff faced. Full loss prevention framework developed and implemented which resulted in a reduction of overall loss and number of criminal incidents against the business. Building the Corporate Security brand with key stakeholders and improving the overall security appetite to achieve positive outcomes and reduce loss and improve staff retention.

Lead investigations into varying serious and priority crimes such as Burglary, Robbery, Fraud, Serious Assaults, Sexual Offences and matters involving Hate Crime.Setting of investigative action plans to realise positive investigative outcomes.To create and maintain positive relationships with key members of the community to promote the work of the Constabulary and the Hate Crime Department.To manage the application warrant process and identify opportunities to apply for warrants through the courts under the Theft and Misuse of drugs acts as well as PACE warrants.Manage incidents and investigations from point of report through to court appearances.Compliance to the Victims Code and professional standards of behaviour.

Sole responsibility for the operational management of the store in the absence of the Store manager.Overall responsibility for the allocation of resources to ensure store budgets were met as well as managing shop floor staffing.Merchandising with security in mind to prevent offences or allow the capture of offenders.Advise on new store openings in the region in relation to security matters and effective merchandising. Create and implement security plans for new store openings, often spending time with new managers and ensuring the security strategy was understood and adhered to.
