Ampcontrol is an electrical engineering company trading in both domestic and international markets, particularly in the mining and renewable energy markets. My role focusses predominantly on providing contractual and legal support to a number of business units across the Ampcontrol Group of Companies. As part of this role I report directly into Legal Counsel and the Chief Financial Officer and also provide generalist legal advice on an ad-hoc basis. As part of my role, I focus on enhancing commercial practices to conserve and improve the commercial position of the business. My key responsiblities involve reviewing and negotiating tenders and contracts , developing and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, drafting contractual agreements on an ad-hoc basis, providing advice in legal matters, reviewing and negotiating leases, coordinating and updating corporate entitles and ensuring compliance with ASIC requirements and reviewing and updating intellectual property registrations as required.
