- Equity Partner responsible for primary coverage and analysis of Event Driven & Equity LS Strategies.- Sourcing and undertaking comprehensive due diligence on attractive investment opportunities, and presenting detailed investment cases to the Investment Committee and institutional client base.- Given bespoke nature of SSC’s business, significant client interaction, including discussing opportunity set, fund due diligence, quantitative analysis, - Integrally involved in decisions around portfolio construction, inc strategy outlook/ conviction, optimal position sizing, risk weighted analysis, factor sensitivity, liquidity analysis etc.- Managing and mentoring junior/ mid-level research analysts.

- Sourcing and interviewing hedge fund managers across all hedge fund strategies.- Extensive fund due diligence on compelling trade ideas and making investment recommendations to the Board of Directors.- Screening funds and undertaking peer group analysis using qualitative and statistical techniques.- Portfolio construction/ optimisation - continually monitoring/ reviewing current and prospective investments to assess suitability.

- Writing Investment Planning Reviews for institutional clients. This comprised reviewing client objectives, analysing financial statements, quantitative asset allocation modelling, and developing appropriate fund manager structures.- Interviewing fund managers, monitoring and analysing funds across multiple asset classes and making recommendations accordingly.- Ad-hoc research projects including index construction, dividend discount model valuations, market timing and analysing spending policies.- Managing the Associate team.
