I am an experienced risk professional with deep knowledge of superannuation and prudential regulation, gained from the Regulator and industry.Over 25 years working in superannuation, which has given me a detailed understanding of the legislative and regulatory settings, governance, risk management and operations of superannuation funds and key service providers.Recent roles have involved leading the regulatory and governance risk function for large profit-to-member fund, acting as primary contract for all regulatory engagement and providing expert advice to Executive and Board on regulatory risks and responses.Have also established and lead the enterprise risk function for a major superannuation service provider, reporting to the CEO and Audit and Risk Committee.Significant prudential supervision experience with 8 years spent at APRA leading a team of frontline superannuation supervisors. Contributed to development of a number of prudential standards and guidance, RSE licensing methodology and monitoring of key superannuation industry risks.
