Data Science MSc industrial placement. During my project, titled 'Integrity Management Data Visualisation', I developed scripts to extract and transform offshore asset integrity data to allow analysis. I subsequently produced interactive dashboards to enable staff to plan maintenance and monitor asset integrity.I used the following software throughout:R (with RStudio),SQL,Tableau,LaTeX.

I worked at various public community libraries in Aberdeen on a summer relief contract and I have continued to work during term time through offer of a casual contract. I received training to assist in providing the wide range of services available to the public through local libraries, including using online databases and catalogues. I have been given the responsibility of operating various community libraries by myself.

Delivered weekly tutorial sessions for a 1st year physics module "PX1513: The Physical Universe B". I marked and graded student work on a weekly basis.

Funded summer vacation research scholarship on complex time series analysis, supervised by Prof. Antonio Politi at the University of Aberdeen. Novel algorithms were produced in the MATLAB and C programming languages to analyse chaotic and/or noisy data.Research was communicated to academics in an event hosted by the Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland, and later published in a paper "Permutation entropy revisited" in the journal "Chaos, Solitons & Fractals".
