I've been working as an engineer for the past 25 years and have extensive experience in the offshore and marine fields, having been involved with and managed a wide variety of inspection/survey projects. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic professional, who enjoys working on his own initiative as well as contributing effectively within the team environment. I have excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and orally. I’m a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineers (MIMarEST). I’m registered with FEANI as a European Engineer and eligible for the title (Eur. Eng). I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Energy from Heriot Watt University and a Post Graduate Cert in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School.I’m currently employed by one of the worlds leading independent risk management organisations providing classification, certification and verification services to the marine, offshore and land based industries. Our focus is on supporting our clients with the increasingly complex task of managing their operational risks to personnel, business and environment by maintaining high standards of integrity management across networks of high-value offshore/onshore assets. These assets are at differing levels of maturity and require the development of individual strategies to maintain their operational integrity.
