Hard-working and dedicated Chief Scout/Head of Recruitment with 30 years’ experience and a demonstrable track record of success. Having initially worked at every level from League Two to the Premier League on a part-time basis, helping clubs to achieve promotion from each, the last decade has seen me work full-time as a Head of Recruitment, Head of UK Scouting or Chief Scout at Championship and Premier League level. Thriving on any long term challenge and helping clubs to deliver above expectations through consistently effective recruitment, I have always understood the requirements of my Manager/Head Coach and have been able to forge positive relationships both internally with colleagues and owners as well as with agents and service providers alike. Typically attending around 220 games per season and managing teams of up to a dozen domestic scouts across the UK, my experience has taken me to games in almost 30 countries across Europe and beyond. In addition, I am comfortable working with such established products as iSF and Wyscout and supplement my live programme with many more watched online each season. I have always regarded my involvement in professional football as a privilege and as such, my commitment and enthusiasm for the game and more specifically, for player recruitment, remains as high today as it ever was.
