This examined the plays of key practitioners Bertolt Brecht and Sophocles, specific plays being ‘Fear & Misery of the Third Reich’, ‘Good Person of Szechwan’, ‘Threepenny Opera’ and ‘Antigone’. This work enriched my knowledge gained at University and fuelled my interest in education which prompted my career move into full time teaching in 2007, by taking up the offer to teach ESOL and Drama in Italy.
