Working closely with the Commodity Managers, Operations, Engineering, and Product Management teams as they work to implement Supply Chain Management strategies that are competitive enablers for the business by providing the highest performing and lowest total cost of ownership supply solutions.Key Responsibilities Include: • Management & development of 10 direct reports.• Developing strategies and driving supplier performance for all commercial aspects of Mechanical direct materials.• Development & execution of Annual Operating Plan, covering productivity, delivery, quality, and lead time improvement for the mechanical commodities• Executing successful supplier transitions and implementing consignment, stocking, and 3PL solutions with suppliers to improve overall supply flexibility and responsiveness• Deploying High Growth Region and Supply Localisation strategies to meet both the total cost of ownership needs and the dynamic supply needs of Honeywell factored in EMEA.• Maintaining continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and developing technologies• Establishing and managing key supplier performance objectives and communicating periodic results to plan• Resolving delivery and quality issues through root cause analysis and appropriate supplier escalation• Owning all sourcing decisions including supplier evaluations, selections, and competitive bid processes via traditional negotiations and e-Auctions• Negotiating supply agreements in support of overall supply chain goals and objectives
