Seminars typically involved various activities including research skills and discussion of assigned reading (typically an academic journal article). Marking of formative and summative assignments (essays and a presentation) was also required.

Involved supporting on undergraduate modules, including delivery of wet lab sessions (sheep brain dissections, biochemical assays, and histology), as well as assisting in the supervision of various final year projects using physiological recording (heart rate, galvanic skin response), eye-tracking, and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).

An already established study examining the effect of caffeine and workload stress on executive function. Involved the use of various cognitive tests (CANTAB Connect, Cambridge Cognition), production of caffeine and placebo capsules, as well as stress tasks (Multitasking Framework, Purple Research Solutions), and obtaining physiological readings (blood pressure and heart rate). Findings at end date were disseminated via academic poster.

Involved assisting in the development of an EEG-based performance psychology study which aimed to examine changes in neural efficiency as a function of implicit and explicit learning.
