I help tech scaleups to tell their stories and startups to build their brands. I’m also the Director of Leeds Digital Festival, a non-executive director of startups, and determined to help raise the profile of the north of England's tech sector by working collaboratively across cities. I'm also the founder of UK Tech Week, the only tech event that brings together tech weeks and digital festivals across the whole country.MBA educated, with a CIM Marketing Diploma, I have a proven track record of developing marketing and communications strategies for multiple firms in the tech sector. I was named as the most influential person in Leeds in the Tech Nation annual report; I've also been named as one of the UK's top three digital leaders in the Digital Leaders' DL100, as well as the City Region Leader: Leeds in the BusinessDesk Northern Leadership Awards, and feature regularly in the Yorkshire Business Insider Powerlist 100. I was included in the 2024 Northern Power Women’s inaugural Advocacy List in recognition of my contribution to gender equity in the tech sector, as well as being named on the Business Cloud magazine’s inaugural Northern Leaders 2024 list, comprised of the 200 leaders who have made - and continue to make - the biggest positive difference to the North.At Paceline, we help tech firms and startups with their marketing strategy and PR objectives, as well as working with individuals and companies to help them build connections with key influencers from the region's business and civic communities. We have also developed the Leeds Tech Map, which highlights the growing tech sector in Leeds, as well as PARSE, the peer to peer roundtables for startup founders.Recent projects have included:- creating PR and marketing strategies for clients such as a data services consultancy, a digital agency, a global software firm and a data centre to name just a few- sourcing participants for a 'Big Four' scale-up programme- helping multi-national firms to establish relationships with local civic and business leaders ahead of establishing offices in LeedsI'm co-founder and Festival Director of the Leeds Digital Festival, which aims to celebrate digital culture in all its forms. Starting in 2016, we've grown into the largest open tech event in the UK, with a global reach.The first ever UK Tech Week took place in April 2024, with 37 events in 20 different towns and cities across the four nations of the UK. Working with our partners, we'll be back 17th to 21st March 2025, with events in more places across the country, truly bringing UK tech together.

FounderUk Tech Week Oct 2023 - PresentUK Tech Week showcases the tech innovation, expertise, and talent that exists across the nation and champions the vibrant technological ecosystem that spans the UK.Partnering with a number of tech events, festivals and organisations, UK Tech Week will take place over 5 days in March 2025, with a launch event on Monday 17th March. Launched in March 2024, our inaugural event took place in April with 22 Event Partners representing tech events, festivals and organisations around the UK. UK Tech Week 2024 saw 37 events hosted in 20 cities and towns across the country over three days, with UK Tech Week providing a unique platform to promote these events to a wider national audience.We welcomed established Festivals and Tech Weeks such as Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Leeds alongside newcomers such as Basildon, Belfast, Glasgow and Lincolnshire. Building on this initial success we continue to welcome new Event Partners to UK Tech Week. Our vision of collaboration amongst the nations and regions of the UK is supported by influential advocacy groups such as Startup Coalition, Global Tech Advocates, TechUK, and Tech Talent Charter.
