UK Tech Week showcases the tech innovation, expertise, and talent that exists across the nation and champions the vibrant technological ecosystem that spans the UK.Partnering with a number of tech events, festivals and organisations, UK Tech Week will take place over 5 days in March 2025, with a launch event on Monday 17th March. Launched in March 2024, our inaugural event took place in April with 22 Event Partners representing tech events, festivals and organisations around the UK. UK Tech Week 2024 saw 37 events hosted in 20 cities and towns across the country over three days, with UK Tech Week providing a unique platform to promote these events to a wider national audience.We welcomed established Festivals and Tech Weeks such as Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Leeds alongside newcomers such as Basildon, Belfast, Glasgow and Lincolnshire. Building on this initial success we continue to welcome new Event Partners to UK Tech Week. Our vision of collaboration amongst the nations and regions of the UK is supported by influential advocacy groups such as Startup Coalition, Global Tech Advocates, TechUK, and Tech Talent Charter. We are also working with national and local Government departments and agencies, as well as inward investment bodies to promote the event on a national and international stage.UK Tech Week is committed to fostering year-round engagement with the tech community, leveraging social media platforms and newsletters to spotlight both regional and national tech events to nurture collaboration across the flourishing tech sector within the UK.By connecting regional tech communities, UK Tech Week has tremendous potential for expanding the visibility of the UK’s dynamic tech landscape.Saqib Bhatti, Minister for Tech and the Digital Economy, said in April 2024:“UK Tech Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the best of UK tech, showcasing the strength of our tech ecosystems right across the country.”

Paceline helps tech scaleups to tell their stories and startups to build their brands. We also work with individuals and companies to help them build connections with key influencers from the region's business and civic communities. Industry sectors we've helped over the last couple of years have included tech scaleups, digital marketing, professional services, and startups. Recent projects have included:- creating PR and marketing strategies for clients such as a data services consultancy, a global software firm, a data centre, and a fast-growing software consultancy to name just a few- sourcing participants for a ten-week scale-up programme- helping multi-national firms to establish relationships with local civic and business leaders ahead of establishing offices in LeedsWe also created the Leeds Tech Map, a visual representation of tech and digital firms in Leeds, as well as launching PARSE, a peer-to-peer advisory roundtable for startups.

The UK Tech Clusters Group is a self-assembled group of individuals and organisations that represent geographical clusters of technology and digital businesses across the UK. The group meets regularly to discuss issues affecting regional technology clusters, and highlight opportunities at both a regional and national level.Working closely with the Department for Science, Innovations & Technology and other government departments, the UK Tech Clusters Group aims to highlight opportunities for national policy changes and innovative pilot programmes. Manchester Tech Festival is week long festival in October 2022 that has been created by the tech community for the tech community. It dedicates itself to helping tech people learn, create, thrive and will shape Manchester's tech scene moving forwards as we look to rebuild and refocus in the region. As a long-term advocate of collaboration across the North's tech sector, I'll be sharing my experiences of being the Festival Director of the Leeds Digital Festival.

I was the first non-executive director for Jigsaw and helped them define their go to market strategy, as well as advise on the first fundraise. Jigsaw is for singles sick of being judged on looks alone, who want to put their personality first. So we cover their faces with a jigsaw puzzle. The pieces pop away as you message your matches and discover the person underneath.Since launching in London in January 2019, it has attracted over 100,000 users, triggering a movement against superficial dating. June 2020 saw the company cross the pond, launching in New York City and also rolling out UK-wide.
