As a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, I have honed my expertise in cost control, joint venture accounting, and financial management. Currently, I serve as the Lead Cost Controller at Exceed, where I manage all cost-related matters, prepare AFEs and project budgets, and produce detailed cost reports for leadership. My role involves supporting the drilling team with daily cost tracker updates, performing full financial reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with budgeting and procurement processes.Previously, I worked at Cairn Energy Plc now called Capricorn Energy as a Joint Venture Accountant, where I led the hydrocarbon accounting function and managed oil and gas sales, including marketing and invoicing. I prepared Joint Venture billings, maintained financial records, and liaised with partners and governments to ensure compliance with Joint Operating Agreements. My experience also includes a managerial role at Nargile Group, where I oversaw daily operations, budgeting, and customer service.During my tenure at Spirit Energy (formerly Centrica Energy), I held dual roles as a Joint Venture & Asset Accountant and a Drilling Cost Controller. I was responsible for preparing financial reports, operational budgets, and AFEs, as well as developing P2P processes and managing cost allocations. My career began with internships and traineeships at KPMG Luxembourg and Banque Safra, where I gained foundational experience in tax advisory and corporate services.I am currently part qualified through CIMA, continuously enhancing my knowledge and skills in management accounting.
