I am responsible for a team of up to 12 Internal Account Managers within the Public Sector Sales Team. My main responsibility is delivering a target of circa 200k gp per month. I manage and motivate my team to hit their targets and deal with the day to day customer escalations. I carry out regular reviews and have been implementing performance improvement programs with some of the individuals within my team. In October 2008 I was involved in a key systems and policy change from a testing stage right through to implementation and managing the personnel through the new systems.

I was responsible for a team of 12 sales professionals. My main responsibility was delivering a target of circa 170k gp per month. As one of the more Senior Sales Managers I often led company meetings, which includes presenting to around 100 heads on how the company had performed and giving updates on various company initiatives. In the absence of the Sales Director I assumed the role and as such was responsible for the daily sales numbers for the Sales Floor of 40 Account Managers. The later stages of my time within the organisation was driven by the integration of the DSGi Business sites. I was heavily involved in the planning and the change implementation of new systems and processes. This allowed me to work closely with Senior Managers from around the business, learn new skills and get more involved with how the business was run. I learnt a lot about managing change both from a personnel perspective and a company wide perspective.
