Canada

Responsible for developing the mindsets, skills, and systems to activate change across the Canadian front-line sales leadership team during a period of significant organizational consolidation. • As a change agent, championed implementation of global “Responsive Working Framework”, focused on emphasizing agility and experimentation in order to operate the business more expediently and effectively to meet headcount targets. • Implemented SharePoint & Microsoft Teams to remove duplication across functional areas, provide a structure for “open” collaborative working, and support agile scrum teams. This reduced implementation timelines, unified reporting & processes, and saved over 6,000 personnel hours per annum.• Developed and delivered the annual sales agenda for National frontline field teams to close a sales gap representing 2% of annual growth. The result was market-leading CPG sales performance in a year where PepsiCo took full portfolio pricing. Delivered a 15% increase in innovation sale performance, and doubled variety pack sales in what was an underdeveloped segment of the category.• Executed key initiatives to significantly improve the consistency and quality of service. Provided improved data, system functionality, training, and recognition programs to encourage behavior change which resulted in over 5,000 more service calls, increased sales and reduction in retailer complaints.

Western Canada (Vancouver Island - Thunder Bay)

Delivered over $0.5 billion in sales and over $100 million in field contribution annually. Built the execution plan for over 400 front line employees, 28 District sales leaders, 3 Zone Sales Directors, and 1 Zone Sales Leader. Account responsibility for Loblaw, Wal-Mart, and Independent Retailers throughout Western Canada.• The operational link across all sales, marketing, and manufacturing functions, providing regular finance & manufacturing forecasts, collaborating on brand & marketing plans, and setting the key execution priorities. Lead North America on forecast accuracy and supply fulfillment of over 98%.• Closed a $2.5 million trade gap with a focus on margin mix, the execution of profit pairs, and a total restructure of independent trade contracts. The restructure of independent trade contracts is subsequently being rolled out nationally with a targeted impact of over $8 million.• Addressed a projected topline miss of over $4 million in sales and implemented gap-closing strategies. The topline miss was closed through a regular cadence of field communication, heightened focus on large customers, and improved execution of key activities.

Alberta & British Columbia

Managed 8 district sales leaders and 80 front line employees with an annual sales volume of $80 million. Responsible for managing Profit & Loss, sales, safety, recruitment, training & development, customer service, and strategic initiatives.• Implemented a complete Service Model restructure, requiring full labor transformation, job re-design, and new logistic capabilities. Reduced service lead times by over 30%, improved employee engagement scores, and increased service consistency by 8 basis points• Introduced KPIs for the frontline sales teams to operationalize brand and customer plans. Through effective communication, work-withs, one with ones, reward & recognition programs, and best practice sharing, delivered all financial metrics, reduced safety incidents, and built stronger, more agile teams.

Category advisor for Western retailers managing a portfolio of over $1 billion in gross sales, responsible for deepening relationships, engaging customers, assortment, planograms, promotional planning, unlocking insights, and analytics.• Used exceptional analytical skills to model demand of specific promotion combinations leading to changes that increased sales volume by 35%, and optimized category margin.
