I joined the board of The Leprosy Mission's trading company in 2005 as a way of helping to serve the needs of leprosy-affected people. Through working alongside the other directors and the executive team, I have also learned a great deal. The company sells a wide range of products, raising vital funds for the work of the charity. During my time at JRA, I stretched myself significantly – in particular developing a real hands-on expertise in qual-quant projects. I built on my experience as a client-side researcher and communicator as I gained increasing expertise in qualitative moderation and interpretation. I also broadened my sector experience, gaining particular interest in the education and not-for-profit sectors, alongside my FMCG history.

I joined Coors with responsibility for insight on the ales brands Worthington’s and Caffrey’s, cutting my teeth on pack redesigns for both. Before long I took over the role of Consumer Insight Manager for Carling, managing a large budget for ad-hoc and continuous research. I joined Adelphi keen to expand my horizons both methodologically and geographically! I quickly progressed into a client management role, also taking on responsibility for qualitative fieldwork with healthcare professionals (while maintaining responsibility for Adelphi’s advanced analysis).
