Technical Director / Assistant Field Hockey Coach
As an Assistant Field Hockey Head Coach at Penn State, I was responsible for the evaluation of athletes and implementation of training programs to improve player performance. To achieve this, Our program used cutting-edge technology such as HUDL/SportsCode, WHOOP, and Catapult to evaluate practice, games and scout tape at a world class level. Some of my main duties was to coordinate with the Penn State Athletics compliance office, and assist in budget preparation. I would also write and produce feature stories for our quarterly newsletter, Penn State Field Hockey website updates (GoPSUsports.com). Apart of my role was coordinating seminars to educate student-athletes on NCAA rules and regulations on social media, as well as develop strategies to increase our student athletes digital presence and brand awareness to grow their NLI footprint. Coordinating and fostering relationships with key stake holders was top priority of the Penn State Field Hockey model. Our senior management team would oversee the research and promote donor opportunities that would host gala dinners to fundraise Field Hockey Pre-season trips overseas (2011 Italy, Germany, Switzerland /2014 Holland) and tailgate events at home football games to interact and attract donors, alumni, parents of athletes and fans! KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Coached Penn State Field Hockey to be invited to the NCAA Tournament 8 out of 10 seasons• Built and launched verified digital strongholds across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)• Constantly secured the top Field Hockey Athletes in the world (Domestic & International)• Extended the Penn State Field footprint overseas to establish recruiting pipelines in Germany, Holland, New Zealand and Australia• Restructured and rebuilt the Penn State Field Hockeys video review setup from the ground up to the "Best game support function in the country"• 5 Penn State Athletes selected to USA Womens National Team /24 all-americans / 4 B1G Players of the year

Our team of professional and qualified coaches did an amazing job to support and grow each athlete through multiple stages that involve evaluations, training and development in order to shape their skills into those of an Olympic level Athlete. Through dedication, guidance, and sportsmanship, we provided our athletes with the foundation needed to succeed. It was our goal that all participants in our program eventually reach a higher level of play to become the best version of themselves. The program was highly successful, and we were proud to say that many of our athletes went on to qualify or compete in National and International events.
Usa Womens National Team - Gk Coach
Professional development of individual field hockey goal keepers is an important part of achieving optimal performance at the Olympic level. To facilitate this process, I would coordinate training sessions with the Head and Assistant Coaches and work closely with the director of sports performance to adapt and prescribe the session to meet the athletes and team needs. Additionally, I would work with the National Team Coaches to develop U/21, U/18, U/16 goalkeepers that can compete for selection on future National Team squads. Relationship development with goalkeepers is a key component of elite-level field hockey success, As a goalkeeper coach, I would continually assess and monitor player performance during tournaments to ensure their development is progressing at the desired level. I would regularly liaise with National Team Coaches to discuss potential players for selection in international tournaments or squad practice sessions. Furthermore, I would assist in organizing goalkeeper specific camps and clinics that are tailored to develop age-specific fundamental skills and technical abilities.
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Working as an assistant golf course superintendent at a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel and golf resort was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my professional career. Understanding even more deeply the different nuances and details that go into managing such prestigious golf courses like The Breakers West, Rees Jones Course and The Hotel Course at The Breakers was immensely gratifying. Overseeing maintenance staff, preparing for TV tournaments, and managing finances in a multi department and larger scale were additional responsibilities I was able to take advantage of during this role. In summary, this role provided me with the confidence and experience to reach new heights in my professional development. I am very thankful for my time there and all the valuable lessons I have learned. Outside of work, I enjoyed being active in the community by volunteering with the non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity. I was able to help provide quality services to those in need. Seeing the impact of my work gave me a great sense of accomplishment.
