The job itself was faced paced as the brand of shop is well know and also at the time was one of the only to trade in so many electrical goods that when you bought second hand you had a 12 warranty. We were busy most if the time but even so it was tasked to me to come up with ideas to improve sales keep track of how the shop was running and produce a daily and monthly report. Christmas was a very heck-tick time of year with our sales more than doubling in the November and December months. Even though previous management staff liked to step back and remove themselves to the office i still liked to be mixed up the sales and up to me leaving my record of £2400 in one day had never been broken. I enjoyed the roll as it incorporated so many aspects of things i liked, tech, gaming, socializing and sales. Management skills and sales skill were something you needed for the role but you could teach that i believe the reason i succeeded up to the point of leaving was my people skills and being able to approach people and interact with them in a way that didn't make them dismiss me and want to speak with me. I believe this is why i had previous jobs in sales and thrived in them which made targets something i was able to meet and increase. Show less
