Enthusiastic and ambitious full time (BA) Business Student who would like to improve my skills and knowledge through work and learning. I worked part time at a fast paced and busy McDonald's store which is a solid education upon what it is like to be involved in a working environment with different and important roles.I then left my role at McDonald's seeking a new challenge and had an interview for customer service manager at Ladbrokes. I was elated at the opportunity to hone new skills and be entrusted with monumental responsibilities. The opportunity to work at Ladbrokes was a chance I could not turn down at jumped at the chance to learn more of the working world in a fun and challenging environment. At Dalziel High School I was elected as a Prefect by peers which involved various task like organising trips and serving food and drink. I also took part in a mentoring programme which invloved me helping a pupil through the early years of high school. I recieved a working with others award for this. I was a part of the yearbook team and we made the 2016 edition of our school's yearbook the Dalzielian a task I am still proud of years on the memories of working in a team like that was eye opening and gave me new insights.I was also afforded the oppurtunity to raise money for St Andrew's Hospice by partcipating in a sponsored climb of Ben Nevis which I found extremely rewarding. It has concentrated my belief that it is always important to give back in the professional world.
