At COREcruitment, I served as a Senior Recruitment Consultant/Account Manager, specialising in the hospitality and catering sectors. I was a key member of a team that propelled COREcruitment to become one of the top hospitality recruiters in the UK.During my time at CORE, I:Led the Branded Chef desk, specialising in recruiting senior staff and kitchen management for national and international companies. Positions filled ranged from Chef de Partie to Executive Chef, with salaries between £18,000 and £80,000.Handled recruitment for senior positions within the production sector, including Production Managers, Operations Managers, and Directors, with salaries between £30,000 and £80,000.Executed full-circle, contingency recruitment, including candidate sourcing, CV screening, conducting interviews (both regional and via Skype), and organising open recruitment days.Took responsibility for business development, sourcing new clients through both cold and warm sales, conducting face-to-face meetings, and negotiating rates to satisfy client budgets and maximise profit. My ultimate aim was to achieve Preferred Supplier List (PSL) status with companies ranging from standalone businesses to multinational/international corporations.Consistently met and exceeded weekly, monthly, and annual targets, contributing to the growth and success of the company.Led a project to update the internal candidate database, working closely with IT. At ESPRIT HOLIDAYS LTD, I embarked on my journey in recruitment, filling a wide range of positions from Kitchen Porter to Hotel Manager. As part of a team of eight consultants, we successfully recruited 900 seasonal staff, setting a high standard for efficiency and accuracy.During my time with Esprit Holidays, I:Played an integral role in sourcing candidates, screening CVs, conducting face-to-face interviews, and organising regional open days.Assisted in running and organising the pre-season training program, effectively training over 200 staff on company policies, best practices, and due diligence.Managed weekly accounts and paperwork in-resort, including stock takes, rota, cleaning schedules, and compliance with COSHH and HACCP.Conducted staff meetings, managed personnel issues, oversaw performance, and provided continuous training to ensure that required standards were met.Ensured all personnel files were up-to-date and conducted disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies.Undertook pre-season, mid-season, and end-of-season staff appraisals, and provided UK head office with a weekly staff movements report.Organised group activities for all staff, maintaining high motivation and team spirit, and ensured all staff welfare issues were resolved effectively.Planned and arranged guests' daily activities, including arranging outside excursions and ski host days.Throughout this period, I held full-time contracts through various job roles, including Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager, which provided a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry.
