In this role I oversee research efforts at uAspire, focusing on college affordability, financial aid, and economic mobility. At uAspire we aim to help students enroll and persist through higher education affordably, by accessing and maintaining financial aid, making wise choices about additional financial aspects of college, and navigating complex bureaucratic systems related to college affordability.Over the 5.5 years I've been with uAspire, I've held several Sr. Dir. roles, overseeing program design for the high school and college advising program, program evaluation, and data analytics.

In this position -- and previously, as Associate Director for Student Success -- I helped first- and second-year students become more involved and engaged at Wheelock through academic, social, developmental, and community service programs. I supervised two professional academic advisers and oversaw semester and summer abroad programs. Alongside fantastic colleagues, I coordinated the development and implementation of Summer Orientation and assisted with Fall Orientation and Transfer Advising programs. I coordinated parent involvement and communications in cooperation with Student Life. From a broader vantage point, I contributed to Wheelock's mission to improve the lives of children and families.

I advised full-time and part-time undergraduate students in a variety of business majors (e.g., accounting, finance, management). Various processes included: evaluating transfer credit, helping students pick and register for classes and select majors and minors, designing and delivering academic programming, and advising at-risk students (i.e., on academic probation or warning). I also chaired the faculty and staff committee known as LGBTQ@Bentley, and participated in program development and delivery, including as a trainer for Safe Space.
