Hands-on architect that managed integration and modernization across a portfolio of 25+ products and ~110 developers both on and off shore. Worked with product management, senior executives, and investors to map business initiatives to technical solutions. Other duties included helping with due diligence during the acquisition process, GDPR reviews, security assessment and remediation plans, create and refine epics (or themes) to help shape the roadmap in different work streams.Created and led a group of Architects and Sr. Developers across the portfolio's product lines and disciplines. The group was responsible for ensuring architectural initiatives, standards, and guidelines were adhered to. Another function of the group was to be a sounding board for new ideas and approaches from developers.Major initiatives included: - Designing and implementing a SOA implementation ("macro-services") for a greenfield product- Designing and implementing shared libraries for backend services including authentication, data repository, API standardization and api clients- Designing and implementing front-end library strategy for angularjs including shared services, controls, and standardized api access- Designing and creating shared services for the portfolio including email service, file storage, and user tracking which were used by millions of users- Creating test automation frameworks for REST APIs and UI used by 15+ developers- Helping integrate Docker, New Relic, statsd and various tools into our infrastructure- Launching a BI product to hundreds of thousands of users- Designing a framework to integrate acquired companies and products into the portfolio using OIDC for a unified login experience and Salesforce integrations for business process to product automation- Designing a modernization effort to enhance a 15+ year old piece of software using micro-services and event sourcing

Lead a team focused on a web UI. This role included scrum master responsibilities, resource allocation, and ensuring projects were delivered on the correct timelines and budgets. Our project included refactoring a mobile site by removing jQuery Mobile and replacing it with Angular.

Lead developer and Architect on the SharedVue platform. I provided training and mentoring to the developers that joined the team. We used a mostly Microsoft stack. Including .Net MVC2, MVC3, classic ASP, multi-threaded windows services, Node.js, MongoDB, MSSQL. Front-end consisted of a couple libraries/frameworks as well, including jQuery, jQuery UI, Bootstrap, Angular, Angular-UI, FusionCharts, and HighCharts.I worked closely with product management and executives to provide technical guidance to the platform and business as needed.

Worked on back office systems to enable call center operations. Created a near real-time application to help allocate licensed agents to specific campaigns in wait times were too high. Mentored junior developers on .Net and SQLManaged an offshore team of 4 that created an job application site for the company.

Led a customer support team of 5 that was responsible for $15 mil in service contracts. Traveled to client sites to preform installations and repairs to their telephony systems.Created and taught training courses for system operation and web scripting (for agent screens).
