Ownership of finance unit with responsibilty for P&L, cashflow management and business projections.Freeads Classifieds grew within 24 months from 20th to 2nd in the UK classified market with traffic figures of 2m per month. At peaks the business showed 80%+ year on year growth in visitors and 160%+ since the aquisition of the business in early 2007. At the time it was one of the top 500 sites in the UK according to Hitwise making it in the top 0.03% of total tracked sites in the country. On a page view basis the site ranked higher still regularly tipping over into the top 200 in the UK

Management of the the Travelocity brand within the Sabre owned travel portfolio (inc. lastminute.com).Created a Travelocity team within lastminute.com and significantly reduced marketing outlay by approx. 80% whilst maintaining prior year revenue. By optimising website products and promoting DP and hotel sales above flight only the % margin for the business doubled in a single year.

Following the acquisition of Holiday Autos, moved to lastminute.com and oversaw complete overhaul of lastminute.com marketing channels to provide greater emphasis on ROI and justification of spend. Tracked marketing spend when joining was less than 20% but transitioned to a model where 80% was tracked within 18mths. Over the same period marketing budgets were grown 25% due to greater understanding and trust in the key ROI metrics.Reduced reliance on high cost agency partnerships and created in-house support where appropriate to work alongside remaining 3rd party relationships. Created centres of excellence amongst the team in key areas such as search, affiliates, and CRM.Attended weekly trading meetings with UK Directors and represented the UK at European marketing boards.

Camberley

Joined as Marketing Assistant in 2001 and grew to position of Advertising Manager within two years. Transformed the business model by launching the first paid search campaign and generating over £5m of revenue from this source in the first year. Search revenue grew to £10m+ in year two, whilst being supplemented by improved affiliate and CRM support. At peaks was delivering over 5,000 calls into the call centre from offline marketing in the consumer press and other offline channels
