Dr. Chen is the CTO of Beijing DataPipeline Limited. DataPipeline is a rising startup invested by Baidu Venture and Matrix Partners China. We build DataOps platform that enables companies to access and share their data internally and externally in real-time. We serve customers in retail, industrial and finance sectors, like Starbucks China, GoldWind Technology, Longfor Properties, and HeyTea etc. Dr. Chen is a key member of the OpenMessaging Industrial Advisory Board(a Linux Foundation project aiming to provide a cloud native, vendor-neutral open specification for distributed messaging). In his early career, he worked at China Mobile Research Institute as an algorithm engineer leader and technical manager of the User Behavior Laboratory. Besides big data and message queue technologies, he also has rich experience in building online ML applications, such as recommender systems, auto scoring systems and anomaly detection systems.
