Subash is responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with decision makers and influencers within the Canadian market, including managing complex or high-profile territories and/or accounts.He gathers detailed information about the accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic business challenges and priorities, and analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to the Canadian accounts. He also ensures professional sales coordination, account planning and responsible for proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity.

- Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 using the Bank’s Methodologies;- Perform Documentation, Design Effectiveness and Evaluation;- Perform Operating Effectiveness and Evaluation including walkthrough, test plans for key controls, completion of detailed control testing and re-testing due to deficiencies; - Performed Design and Operating Effectiveness on the End User Computing Controls;- Performed Quality Assurance Review on all TeamMate process files;- Responsible for Deficiency Management within TeamMate and TeamCentral;- Expert at TeamMate, including setup and promotion of process files; - Assisted external auditors evaluation on the effectiveness of internal controls; - Ensured that deliverables met plan specifications and deadlines; and- Ad hoc projects as determined by the Director, including preparing information for quarterly reporting purposes.

- Solely responsible for the documentation (including risk control matrixes and flowcharts) and coordinating self assessments of the internal controls over financial reporting process, including validating the documentation, walkthroughs and self assessments; and- Oversee the IT General Controls SOX project.

- Planning internal control testing engagements for various banners and divisions;- Assessing risks associated with internal controls and determining significant controls to be tested;- Document, test and improve the overall systems of disclosure and internal controls;- Prepare written reports of findings and present these to division management;- Assist with deployment of internal controls software application and provide training to division management; and- Ad hoc projects (control issues, new regulatory requirements, tax risk on financial reporting and managing that risk).

- Major clients include large public companies (sales over $1billion), government and owner managed businesses (sales ranging from $1m to over $20m);- Identify, document and test internal controls within key business processes and recommend process improvements;- Assess key financial statement risks and assertions in context of client’s business environment and plan procedures to provide assurance in these areas;- Perform financial analysis and substantive testing of significant general ledger account and reconcile trial balance to financial statements;- Review financial statements to ensure recognition and disclosure is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles;- Supervise rotating staff members and offer appropriate guidance and support when team members required assistance (up to 3 team members);- Successfully complete multiple audits simultaneously while adhering to aggressive schedules;- Complete engagements in a timely manner and within budget, also making recommendations for additional/future billings;- Completed tax provisions and corporate tax returns; and- Performed SOX Section 404 (Internal Control over Financial Reporting Assessment) testing for an Ontario Government owned enterprise.

- Continuing responsibility of functions as stated below under TWC Securities Inc, including consolidations and involvement in all aspects of the TWC/Berkshire merger including financial, compliance, registration and general operations of each amalgamated company.

- Timely preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements, both in compliance with regulatory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles;- Revision and analysis of the monthly financial statements, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and GST compliance and returns;- Responsibility for the full accounting cycle including cash flow management;- Support and assistance to the Chief Financial Officer, including the annual budget and improving efficiencies in the accounting systems/processes;- Full implementation and integration of ACCPAC sub-ledgers; and- Preparation of year-end working papers for statutory and regulatory audits.
