My name is Subere Houssein Ali, and I'm a driven individual from Toronto with a passion for connecting with people and exploring diverse interests. Though naturally extroverted, I approach new environments thoughtfully, adapting quickly and forming meaningful relationships.Athletics, especially track and field, have been instrumental in building my resilience and discipline. I specialize in middle-distance running, with the 800m race as a personal favorite. Outside of sports, I enjoy solving complex puzzles and tackling coding challenges, which fuel my interest in programming. Currently proficient in Python and ActionScript, I’m expanding my knowledge into Java, JavaScript, and C++ as I advance my technical skills.Professionally, I serve as Recreation Staff for the City of Toronto, where I take on various roles, including Sports Instructor, Customer Service Representative, and Facility Supervisor. These experiences have strengthened my foundation in leadership, communication, and teamwork.Recently, I accepted an offer from Western University’s Faculty of Engineering, where I am pursuing a dual degree in Software Engineering and Business through the Ivey Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO) program. My goal is to combine my technical and business expertise to create impactful solutions in the software industry by 2029.
