I successfully completed an impactful research project as part of my Master's thesis at the esteemed Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata, specializing in bioinformatics. Explored the fascinating domain of human-virus protein-protein interactions (PPI) from a multidimensional perspective.During this intensive 5-month endeavor, I assumed diverse responsibilities encompassing scientific literature review, meticulous research analysis, and the application of machine learning techniques to predict PPI using supervised classifiers. I also conducted comprehensive data research, produced detailed reports, and delivered compelling presentations to showcase my findings.My Master's thesis, titled 'Analysis of Human-Virus Protein-Protein Interactions (PPI): A Graphical, Functional, and Machine Learning Application Perspective,' aimed to unveil novel insights into the intricate interactions between human and viral proteins. This involved employing cutting-edge methodologies, leveraging graphical representations, functional analysis, and machine learning algorithms.Through this project, I honed my expertise in scientific research methodology, literature review, and proficiently analyzing data sets. I developed an intermediate command of machine learning algorithms, equipping me with the skills to apply them in the bioinformatics domain effectively.This enriching experience strengthened my ability to work autonomously while fostering effective collaboration within interdisciplinary teams. I am now eager to channel my acquired knowledge and skills toward contributing to groundbreaking research and driving innovation in the exciting field of bioinformatics.

During this internship, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project involving Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Multi Linear Regression!Analyzed and predicted the profit made by 50 startups using EDA techniques. Explored the dataset, and identified patterns, and key factors contributing to profitability.Built a Multi Linear Regression model to predict profit. Uncovered insights into factors driving profit, empowering startups to optimize strategies and make informed decisions.Applied data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning skills to real-world business data. Thrilled to continue my journey in data analysis and machine learning!
