In his previous role as an Associate at PwC India, Subham worked as a Data Engineer in the Advisory line of service (Microsoft Technology Consulting practice). He loves building fast scalable systems for ingesting, processing, storing and managing large volume of data using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and other cloud-based technologies.Subham has end-to-end experience of a project from requirement analysis to system study, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation. He has contributed to a Central Reporting project, where he created pipelines in ADF to extract, transform, and load data from different sources as well as created stored procedures and views to cater to PowerBI reports. He also supported the migration of existing architecture to new architecture, applying performance enhancing queries and indexing. He has automated manual data query tasks and analyzed problematic areas to provide recommendations and solutions. He has delivered outstanding service to clients and maintained high quality standards. He has also built Databricks pipelines to ingest, transform and load data to and from an Azure Data Lake Storage.Subham is a dedicated self-learner and has an innate desire to solve impactful problems on the back of innovation and build trust in the people around him. He is constantly evolving and expanding his knowledge in the field of Data Engineering, and has obtained multiple certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, MTA: Introduction to Programming Using Java, Scrum Fundamentals Certified, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals. He is always open to being a part of technological innovations and collaborating with other professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, where he also completed a summer research internship on Handwritten Mathematical Equation Recognition using Deep Learning in Python.
