It identifies sensitive data in unstructured or semi structured data and proactively respond to data privacy and security regulations like GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS and HIPAA. (1) Worked on Cloud Storage (S4, Symantec Secure Scalable Storage). Involved in performance and Scalability analysis of S4. Looked at flushing behavior of software NVRAM buffers.(2) Worked on performance analysis for Scalable File System (SFS)(3) Modeled I/O behavior through different queues using Queuing Theory Models.(4) Worked on customer escalations in Veritas Operation Manager group (VOM)(5) Researched and device a technique to find out dynamic thresholds. Used dynamic threshold-ing technique to detect anomalous behavior in I/O performance. Used it to detect hot-spot and bottleneck using I/O correlation from application to spindles.Patent got accepted on I/O performance abnormal behavior detection.

(1) Worked in research area of Data mining. (a) Build time series models for capacity forecasting in enterprise environment. (b) Worked with Neural network to find patterns in systems performance data and classify system's state. (c) Modeled distributions of response times for few components in volume manager.(2) Worked on an emerging product in Storage Management space, Storage Change Manager(SCM). Software solution provides the change visibility, impact and root cause analysis. I was involved in its design and implementation phase.(3) Worked on distributed file system, S4 (Symantec Secure Scalable Storage).

(1) Worked in allocator team(a.k.a Intelligent Storage Provisioning) of Volume Manager group. It allows to organize, create and manage virtual storage devices called volumes based on externalized rules and storage features.(2) Anomaly Detection in Datacenter (ADD): Applied data mining techniques to configuration data, to identify misconfigured data center elements.
