As a Doctoral Research Scholar at the Centre for Nanotechnology Research, VIT, Vellore, Sudip is passionate about exploring the applications of nanotechnology and biosensors in healthcare and bioremediation. Sudip works with a team of experts and mentors, led by Prof. Dr. Vimala Raghavan, to investigate the properties and potential of 2D materials and semiconductors, such as MXenes and quantum dots, for developing novel and efficient biosensing platforms and devices for Environmental remediation, Agriculture & Food safety and Healthcare monitoring. Sudip is also a post-graduate M.Tech Biotechnology student at VIT, Vellore, where he has acquired a strong Engineering foundation in biotechnology, bioinformatics, and proteomics, as well as multiple certifications in ethics, communication, and data science. participated in several prestigious worksops and programs, such as the Proteomics Advanced Winter School at IIT Bombay and the HelloAI RIS 2021 online program on AI in healthcare, where he has learned from top-accredited institutions and industry leaders. Sudip has also contributed to several publications in reputed journals, books chapters and filed few Indian patents, showcasing his research skills and outcomes. His goal is to solve real-life problems that can benefit the society, and is always eager to learn and collaborate with anyone who shares this vision.
