As the Head of Equity at Football Victoria (FV), I have a vital role in realising the ambitious goal of 50:50 equity by 2027. With over 10 years of experience in community football and various board positions, I have a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of women, girls and gender diverse people in the sport. I am passionate about creating a more inclusive and diverse football landscape in Victoria, where everyone can access opportunities and enjoy the beautiful game.I oversee FV’s Women and Girls Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, Programs, and Legacy ‘23 outcomes from the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023. I develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain women, girls, and gender diverse people as coaches, referees, players, administrators, committee and board members. I also collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and schemes to ensure FV’s vision and values are aligned with the global standards and best practices. I am self-motivated and driven to provide exceptional customer experiences and to empower the football community to achieve success and equity.
