Sue Evans is founder and director of Fair Street Projects, a fine art studio that is designed to serve a wide range of creative thinkers. Partnering with artists and educators is integral to the studio’s image-making process.For twelve years, Evans had served as president of Rolin Foundation, a private nonprofit grant-giving foundation supporting learning through art, education, and cultural heritage initiatives. As president, Evans spearheaded collaborations with emerging nonprofits and established institutions to develop educational programs throughout the United States, Canada, England, UAE, Haiti, and Egypt.A leader in the arts and education community, Evans opened doors for global education by galvanizing students, educators, benefactors, and visionaries to take action. Working with underserved communities in LA, Miami, New York City, as well as Camden and Paterson, NJ, Evans developed partnership programs that inspire creative thinking. She continues to serve as an active member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Department of Ancient Near Eastern Art’s Visiting Committee, and as a board member at Dieu Donné Papermill, in Brooklyn Navy Yard. In the past, she has served as a board officer of Coexist Foundation and has previously been a corporate member of the Council on Foreign Relations.As an American who was raised in Canada, Evans had returned to the U.S. for both undergraduate and MFA degrees. In New York, she worked with an international fine art collector, managing private collections and an extensive art historical reference library. And prior to her involvement in philanthropy, Evans had opened a fine art etching atelier, Evans Editions, in Tribeca. There, she collaborated with artists as a master printmaker, co-creating fine art etching suites, many of which are housed in major museums and collections. Presently, Evans Editions is represented by Jack Barrett Gallery in New York City. Ms. Evans lives in Bergen County with her husband, where they raised their two children.

Recently, Evans joined the advisory board of Zero Project, an arts diplomacy initiative that finds innovative ways to come to terms with a-bomb destruction in Japan. In the past, Ms. Evans has served as a board officer of Coexist Foundation and has previously been a corporate member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
