    PMO support to a large transformation programme to outsourcing of many of the internal SAP Services activities of Centrica Energy (CE) and its associated North American business, Direct Energy (DE), to one managed service provider (MSP). Whilst my main responsibilities were PMO related, I have also been able to use other analysis and testing skills. My main activities have included: • Preparation of weekly status reports, by obtaining updates from project managers and workstream leads, (produced in both Powerpoint and in Clarity reporting tool).• Attend project boards, recording actions, then chasing for updates.• Co-ordination and facilitation of the review of the deliverables provided by the MSP, including the maintenance of a progress tracker.• Maintenance of the internal programme RAID log, facilitating weekly reviews by project managers and workstream leads, then liaising with the MSP’s PMO to identify and update risks and issues for the joint RAID log.• Maintenance of the programme financial forecast and updates for monthly expenditure, to establish any variances.• Development and maintenance of a ‘plan on a page’ based on the MSP’s project plan.• Preparation and maintenance of a communication plan that identified stakeholders, the appropriate messages needed and timings. Also participated in presentations to business teams on the how the changes would impact them, (I captured questions and followed up with answers).• Support for the development of processes, for which I developed training material.• Gathered requirements for the changes to be made to Service-Now (IT service management tool), including a service catalogue, then liaising with developers to make the changes, including testing.• Co-ordination of some user acceptance testing including the recording of test results and raising defects using HP’s ALM tool.• Administration of the team’s SharePoint site, plus other admin tasks.

    This was a three-month contract, which was specifically to set up project structure and governance for this rapidly expanding and ambitious company.
