Part of the Business Growth Service, GrowthAccelerator was a government-backed service that delivered support for growing businesses, enabling them to achieve their ambitions. Businesses supported by GrowthAccelerator grew their teams by 36% in the last financial year, compared to 5% for the average SME, creating over 36,500 jobs and generating £1.5billion of growth.The Business Growth Service provided expert, tailored support for growing businesses; this included advice for growth, export and finance. My role was to ensure that businesses with true growth potential in London and Hertfordshire benefited from the Business Growth Service and that it delivered bespoke solutions to help a company to reach its full growth potential.Key responsibilities:-Understanding the growth needs of a company-Agreeing their participation in The Business Growth Service if they could demonstrate true growth potential-Developing a coaching package, in collaboration with the client, to overcome key growth barriers-Selecting & introducing the most appropriate expert coach to deliver this work package- Monitoring service delivery and ensuring it was of the highest quality

The community delivers personalised value through the Relationship Managers, mentors, one-to-one connections, exclusive events and high level business content.I managed a portfolio of 40 Criticaleye Members - comprising Chief Execuitve Officers, Chief Financial Officers, non-executive directors and other senior business leaders on or reporting to the board. I ensured I understood their business objectives and career aspirations, and help them navigate the network through introductions, event invitations and opportunities to raise their profile. A clear understanding of the business's strategy, mission and vision was essential, as well as the individual's personal drivers and ambitions. My role would often lend itself to giving career advice, including working with head hunters and how to acquire a non-execuitve role.

Client facing role requiring extensive knowlege of resources - on-line databases, directories and publications in career transition. Management of Alumni Network involving event organisation and partnership development.

Language Training company based in Paris which provided training (mostly English) to adults within their companies. Project managed a key account with 350 trainees. Position also involved teacher training, writing intensive training courses, level evaluation, teaching English as a foreign language to adults.
