In this position I was contracted for a fixed period to work on the global implementation of an online performance review process, the first of its kind for Deluxe.This involved:-collaborating with global HR teams-delivering and presenting webinars globally -managing the development of the online platform and testing for Workday launch -reporting completion rates and ratings spread to the executive teamI was very grateful during my time at Deluxe to have my work on this (and other projects) recognized with an award, which was presented to me in front of all employees on site.I also re-instated an induction process which introduces new starters to the work of Deluxe, contributed to an employee newsletter for the EMEA region and created bespoke learning resources for our e-learning platform.
Hr Advisor
My time at SEM has been spent on a broad range of tasks including recruitment, employee relations, payroll and HR Systems, strategic HR and of course working closely with line managers providing legal and commercial advice on people issues. Fundamentally my role has been to contribute to the success of SEM by ensuring our people are performing to their potential. Temporary Hr Administrative Assistant
Within this role I have been assisting with all administrative aspects of the HR department at Coty, which looks after their 900+ UK employees. This has involved working extensively between different HR programs to update electronic employee files, and utilising my existing IT skills I have helped create a number of fixes to ensure more efficient data input. I have since been nominated for an innovation award for solving an issue with mail merges. Most recently I have assisted the HR manager in implementing this year’s salary increases and bonuses, cross checking hard copy information with a number of spreadsheets and using mail merges to produce letters for every employee. In my time within this role I have been given the opportunity to work independently, and take the initiative to deal with queries which we receive through the HR inbox, such as issuing letters, producing and distributing company messages, and creating new starters on our software and issuing their contracts and induction packs.
Pre-Employment Screening Manager
During my time at The Inkerman Group I was responsible for managing the pre-employment screening department, by sourcing new clients and taking measures to improve the efficiency of our processes. During my time at the company we launched a new website and succeeded in growing our offering, expanding into several new sectors. On a day to day basis I managed the delivery of bespoke screening to a range of public and private sector clients, as well as supporting the HR Director with her duties, including those listed within my HR Assistant role.My focus was to develop a flexible, client focused screening system which used innovative specialist software to integrate with existing HR processes, and to make the experience for the candidate as straight forward as possible.I was also responsible for maintaining our secure online system, and ensuring the continual delivery of screening to industry standards such as BS7858:2012 and BPSS. The Inkerman Group Screening is also ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 registered for IT security and quality management, and fully compliant with data protection legislation.

Team Leader
In this role my main responsibility was to ensure every customer who visited our store left with a smile and would shop with us again. This was paired with meeting and exceeding targets for sales, promotional items and opening business accounts, all of which help increase the profitability of the store. I exceeded every target I was set, regularly opening the most store cards out of all the staff. This position has offered a different set of challenges to my previous jobs in retail, as it was less sales based, and more knowledge based. It was my responsibility to put non-prescription medications through the till, give customers advice and handle prescriptions. This means that there is no room for mistakes, and that utilized my ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising the quality of my work. It has also given me more experience of dealing with unhappy customers politely, and trying to make their day a little bit better by being efficient, polite and friendly.

This role involved working on an Oasis concession in a Debenhams department store. My responsibilities were to give excellent customer service while operating the till, monitoring fitting rooms and maintaining displays and presentation of stock. As part of my job I offered the range of Debenhams store cards and successfully met my targets for this. As repeat customers were common, it was extremely important to be warm, friendly and helpful to every customer, at the same time as driving sales. It was my responsibility to manage the whole concession on occasions when other staff members were absent or on breaks, which encouraged me to problem solve quickly and independently in response to customer queries.

Ernest Newson School Uniform Shop, Canterbury; This position involved dealing with parents in a courteous and informative manner and helping them complete their child's uniform for the September, as well as driving add on sales to increase profit. I also undertook responsibilities involving deliveries and general upkeep and display in the store, in addition to till work and offering enthusiastic customer service. This role helped me gain experience in dealing with customers who were under stress in a calm, helpful and efficient manner.
