A requirement existed to define and develop a new system that would be highly effective and efficient in meeting regulatory and financial control requirements as defined in IFRS 9 and IAS 39.The successful delivery was dependent on my strong stakeholder collaboration and attention to detail in the planning phases. My accomplishments were realised when complex hedging problems were effortlessly broken down into achievable milestones and all involved could contribute and share knowledge. I played a privotal role in defining the system logic which streamlined processes, also ensuring all financial and regulatory controls were met and comprehensively documented for stakeholders and audit capability.My technical writing and coding strengths, stakeholder management and problem solving skills helped with the delivering of a well balanced solution that meets both regulatory and financial obligations.

This role was tasked with developing a tool for pricing commodities based on market sources to ensure thresholds were maintained. A requirement existed for business users to have pricing information readily available on demand to facilitate quick informed decisions on valuations and pricing strategies. Pricing is regulated and any significant variance from the current market value must be identified and reported in a timely manner. This role involved the identification of respected market data sources. I performed in-depth business analysis to fully understand data quality and reliability. My design and build approach were highly collaborative to validate stakeholder requirements and model a solution that provides both simplicity and accuracy with pricing. My requirements gathering and problem-solving techniques successfully identified use case scenarios on pricing, which helped model the system saving users hours of manual work arounds. This also provided system users with increased confidence with results and delivering the necessary regulatory reporting capability. My proactive efforts ensured the system scope was clear, concise and implemented within agreed timelines.

This role was tasked with the migration of soft sales reporting from a legacy system to a Global Sales reporting platform. The legacy system required a major overhaul to cater for global sales and business rules for revenue allocation. Daily processing and reporting capability had become slow and cumbersome with the large data storage requirements and system operating at capacity.I was tasked with the new system design and played a key SME role undertaking detailed data analysis, mappings, modelling and recommending architectural considerations. My problem-solving skills were utilised in the development of a sales matrix required for revenue calculations and reporting.My strong technical SQL skills helped during the build and test phases ensuring all sales scenarios were identified and captured, focusing on integrity. I was also heavily involved in the strategic discussions with stakeholders and technology partners to ensure a holistic global solution meets the brief within expected timeframes. I played a pivotal technical business analyst role driving this initiative from inception to successful delivery, participating in the all facets of design, build, testing, training and deployment. The outcome was the production of a highly efficient and integrated global sales system on a SQL database platform with increased processing capacity and user driven reporting, streamlining manual tasks and saving hours of reconciliations and processing timeframes.

This involved the system migration from an access database to a SQL platform. The objective was to develop a single source of truth for Markets data and remove dependencies on unsupported applications as an important risk measure.I was tasked with planning and documenting the build of a strategic sales reporting solution which streamlined existing manual processes and drove efficiencies. I performed detailed business analysis and UAT testing using my SQL skills. This technical and business exposure gave me the opportunity to be innovative and drive change with optimum outcomes. I was involved in stakeholder and project management tasks ensuring milestones and delivery dates were well managed and accomplished as expected. I ensured all tangible results were well understood and clearly communicated amongst team members during the lifecycle of the project. My collaborative approach built great team dynamics and a well-orchestrated solution reducing risk and delivering a transparency single reliability data source.

This Project Manager role was tasked with implementing FSRA regime across ANZ Divisions Institutional, Trade and Transaction Services and Corporate. The Bank was required to re-licence under the FRSA Reform and demonstrate all required tasks had been sufficiently actioned and were well managed and embedded into existing processes and procedures prior to this submission. This involved analysing all customer facing roles and how they interact with customers, clearly specifying training requirements for advisor roles and monitoring accreditation. Communication was critical in this process to ensure all staff were aware of their obligations under this reform.As Project Manager I worked tirelessly to ensure all tasks were delivered on time and within budget. All decisions where well managed and sufficiently reviewed in compressed timeframes given the nature of this role. My attention to detail and persistent efforts ensured all compliance and licencing requirements where adhered to. This involved strong stakeholder management, Risk engagement and co-ordinating staff training for FSRA accreditation. Success was evident when I delivered a system to monitor accreditation and issue letters of authorisation to customer facing staff. The Bank re licencing was a major milestone and great sense of achievement.
