A requirement existed to define and develop a new system that would be highly effective and efficient in meeting regulatory and financial control requirements as defined in IFRS 9 and IAS 39.The successful delivery was dependent on my strong stakeholder collaboration and attention to detail in the planning phases. My accomplishments were realised when complex hedging problems were effortlessly broken down into achievable milestones and all involved could contribute and share knowledge. I played a privotal role in defining the system logic which streamlined processes, also ensuring all financial and regulatory controls were met and comprehensively documented for stakeholders and audit capability.My technical writing and coding strengths, stakeholder management and problem solving skills helped with the delivering of a well balanced solution that meets both regulatory and financial obligations.
Data Solutions Manager - Global Markets Division
This role was tasked with developing a tool for pricing commodities based on market sources to ensure thresholds were maintained. This Project Manager role was tasked with implementing FSRA regime across ANZ Divisions Institutional, Trade and Transaction Services and Corporate. The Bank was required to re-licence under the FRSA Reform and demonstrate all required tasks had been sufficiently actioned and were well managed and embedded into existing processes and procedures prior to this submission. This involved analysing all customer facing roles and how they interact with customers, clearly specifying training requirements for advisor roles and monitoring accreditation. Communication was critical in this process to ensure all staff were aware of their obligations under this reform.As Project Manager I worked tirelessly to ensure all tasks were delivered on time and within budget. All decisions where well managed and sufficiently reviewed in compressed timeframes given the nature of this role. My attention to detail and persistent efforts ensured all compliance and licencing requirements where adhered to. This involved strong stakeholder management, Risk engagement and co-ordinating staff training for FSRA accreditation. Success was evident when I delivered a system to monitor accreditation and issue letters of authorisation to customer facing staff. The Bank re licencing was a major milestone and great sense of achievement.
