I am so lucky that every day I get to follow my passion for people and how the mind works having launched my coaching and therapy business a number of years ago after over twenty years as a Director in the Ports, Logistics and Construction sector. Throughout my career it has always been about the people. I have worked with some amazing colleagues and clients and have always focussed my energy on building strong teams, gaining people’s trust and offering guidance and support. I have witnessed the impact it can have juggling the day to day pressure of working in a busy environment, constant deadlines, relationship challenges ,personal and family illness and losses that can result in lack of confidence, low motivation and ultimately burn out. Trying to convince employers, employees, colleagues and family that everything is ok when deep down you are sinking. It can be hard finding the right support and even those that really embrace the need for it have to work extremely hard to reach out due to the stigma that unfortunately still exists around mental health. Offering the support doesnt mean people feel able to ask for it - that comes from creating a culture and environment based on respect and absolute confidentiality As well as my 1-1 private coaching and therapy services for business owners and senior executives I also work with businesses offering guidance to the Board / Senior Management team of what to look out for in their teams and how to get immediate support in a safe, confidential and empathic way.
