Project managing a sector based recruitment programme, supporting people in local communities across GM into sustainable employment within social care settings.Working in collaboration with the GMHSCP and WEA (a voluntary sector adult learning provider) and supported by Skills for Care and the DWP, have developed a fully-funded entry level work-based education programme aimed at those people currently out of work and education, who are interested in pursuing a career in social care. Partnership building with a large number of reputable social care providers, supporting them in recruiting people with life skills, the right values and transferable skills needed to become valued members of social care teams across GM.

Currently Working in partnership with trusts and organisations throughout Great Manchester to promote job roles within the NHS. Actively widening participation to local communities and encouraging the workforce of tomorrow to consider the many career opportunities available in healthcare.Planning and delivering Career events and healthcare insight days, coordinating activities working with partners to support and engage learners to participate in organised interactive activities.Key skills include creating classroom based workshops and activities and delivering these across Greater Manchester to a large number of schools, colleges and organisations in order to raise awareness of the many roles and apprenticeship opportunities available, along with the skills, values and behaviours required to work in healthcare as well as supporting learners in job application and interview skills.

My responsibilities included;Leading the Talent for Care project, widening participation in the NHS to high school students, attending careers days, delivering information sessions to classes within local schools, planning and organising 6 week Skills Club program’s providing a vocational taster program for high school students, working with subject leads developing presentations to raise awareness in mental health.Actively involved in the continuing professional development of staff, promoting training courses and opportunities Delivering training in Management and Leadership modules as well as Conflict Resolution, Equality and Diversity, assertiveness and resilience Solely responsible for the planning, coordinating and facilitation of sector events, such as the Corporate Induction, Appreciation Week, Adult Learner week and team building activitiesLeading communication across the Trust to promote inclusion, devising methods to promote value and recognition of staff through various activities solely responsible for the planning and delivery of such events.

Field based covering a large area across the Northwest, recruiting & marketing the National Apprenticeship program within Companies.Delivering group information sessions & holding meetings with employers to actively promote Apprenticeships in retail, hospitality, business & administration & customer service.Facilitating induction on to the program in the specific areas.

Field based across the North West area, delivering Retail & Customer service B-Tec National Diplomas via the apprenticeship framework. Managing a case load of learners, supporting them in all aspects of the apprenticeship, Also delivering Functional Skills Maths & English as part of the Apprenticeship.
