Multidisciplinary designers must not only be technically proficient and adaptable, but also capable of employing ideation techniques to solve challenging business problems. You rely on a designer to light the spark that inspires a consumer to buy your product, use your service, or follow your brand.As a tested and proven designer drawing upon years of professional experience delivering top-notch creative solutions, I’ve had the good fortune to tell many stories. I got my start in retail grocery, being the first in-house graphic artist with in-store experience. Next came several exciting years using my diverse design skills to develop successful product lines for a major Florida department store chain, working directly with buyers, merchandisers, and overseas vendors. I’ve even rubbed elbows with Big Bird as the Creative Services Manager for the primary PBS station in Tampa Bay. My journey has enabled me to play key creative roles for manufacturers, restaurant decorators, and even a science museum! Every facet of my career has allowed the addition of new skills to my ever-expanding toolbox. Personal and professional growth is a constant objective.
