I love working for Grey Rock Realty, a completely client-focused company! We are one of the smaller real estate companies based out of Fort Collins, and with a very low overhead cost, it allows me to serve my clients to the best of my ability and save them a lot of money.

It was a big leap to go from corporate program manager to small business owner, but I survived! Loving real estate, and loving being my own boss. It's like playing all day!

My job as innovation program manager included program definition, implementation & management. Success as of March 2008 included 20 innovation projects, and a 90% success rate (innovations incorporated into the CPU designs). The program was recognized across the company for an innovative and effective program, and there was demand from other business for us to port our program. My responsibilities included supporting idea inception, development and championing for support and adoption. I mentored the team leaders, and supported their ability to drive their projects to completion. I collected formal and informal feedback and instantiated processes and guidelines to improve the program. I ensured there was enough structure to be successful, yet enough flexibility to meet the needs of the people and the budding technologies. I owned performance feedback, reward mechanisms, and program metrics.
