• Worked on a semester-long project team with a Product Manager, Tech Lead, Designer(s) and Software Developers to program software for nonprofit partners.• Constructed an internal dashboard for 3DP4ME, a nonprofit utilizing 3D printing technology and multi-step workflows to create custom-fit hearing aids for low-income countries, hoping to expand to prosthetics in the future.• Developed a progressive web application with a responsive frontend emphasis for our nonprofit partner Brink.

• Research nonprofits and reach out to share what our organization has to offer. • Lead calls with potential nonprofit partners to assess the needs of the nonprofit and gauge how compatible our organizations and missions are as we scope out potential projects.• Conduct user research calls with potential users provided to us by the nonprofits to further refine the product scoping.

• Manage Hack4Impact UIUC external platforms (website, social media, blog, etc.) and create visual and written content that is specially geared toward each platform, in addition to planning marketing strategies for said platforms.• Contact prior nonprofit clients of the chapter to conduct Impact Assessment interviews in order to gauge our social impact. Assessments are then analyzed to synthesize a reflection of our partnership as well as how that translates into our current work. • Outreach to other nonprofits, student organizations, and departmental programs in order to maintain connections or discuss potential partnerships/collaborations.• Act as a bridge between our organizations and the local community and plan events for non-members to be involved with the organization and our mission by hosting workshops and sharing educational content.

• Worked as one of six high school interns as a part of the paid five week long internship at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois. • Designed and shipped three augmented reality mobile games to incorporate our learning into the exhibit, made playable to the public by utilizing Bluetooth beacons.• Created the games under the guidance of a professional game developer to include material that we learned from the museum's etymologists and botanists. • Learned to do user testing and iterate on the feedback we received prior to shipping.
