• Source to Pay – Indirect Procurement.• Categories working on – Capex, engineering spare parts, utilities and services, safety items and services, laboratory consumables and services.• Working on Ariba portal for supplier management, creating tenders and organizing auctions.• Working module - SAP 7.0 Material Management.• ABC classification - On supplier categories and material segments to identify the risk and spend.• SWOT analysis – For strategy formulation.• Kraljic Matrix - To determine procurement strategies for negotiations.• Alternate vendor development – To avoid the situation of monopolistic suppliers, market competition and to keep the spare parts, repairs and maintenance cost down.• Working in upstream purchasing of product life cycle by identifying the right need, segmentation and cost avoidance to achieve maximum cost savings.• Closely involved in the development of category strategies and executing sourcing events to reduce total costs, providing recommendations to stakeholders whilst ensuring value for money and providing high levels of service and compliance with procurement policies and standards.• Supporting global procurement team by preparing vendor scorecard analysis, offer analysis and techno commercial comparisons.• Estimate internal costing based on BOQ / BOM to have a better hold over project negotiations.

* Request for quotation from competitive suppliers based on requirement from production team.* To arrange conference and Interview supplier representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar prospect relating to parts and equipment’s with company personnel.* Updating the quotation in Oracle, getting rates approved from HOD and processing the PO.* Follow up for the timely delivery as per agreed PO terms.* Alignment with quality team to ensure timely inspection of material whenever required and resolving the rejections if any.* Healthy interaction with the Finance and Accounts department to ensure timely payment of suppliers.* Arranging of transport for delivery of items on weekly basis from supplier warehouse.

* Plan, schedule, place orders and administrate purchase orders to ensure quality material is delivered on time.* Collecting quotations based on technically correct PR, preparing techno-commercial comparison, negotiating to best market price, quality and delivery and placing the PO accordingly.* Coordinate activities to ensure goods and services are received in a timely manner (reviewing/issuing purchase orders, expediting, follow up, sourcing new suppliers).* Vendor management and evaluation.* Identify potential areas of long term open Purchase Orders.* Open PO followup and ensuring on time delivery of the material / closing of the PO.
