A typical urban corporate worker turned rural mountain dweller. I'd like to divide my matured life into two parts - the first when I was a corporate worker and the second when I turned into a social entrepreneur in the mountains of The Nilgiris. My first part saw me put-in over 13 years with banking and energy majors of the world. I chose recruiting as a profession and spent all of these 13+ years in recruiting with the last 8 years in leadership roles. The second part is seeing me don the hat of a social entrepreneur in these beautiful mountains of The Nilgiris empowering women from rural & indigenous communities into the economic mainstream. We up-skill women into becoming first generation artisans and subsequently enable them to generate equitable income.
