Susan Hunt has been at the intersection of lifestyle, sports and reality programming on broadcast, cable, radio and streaming as Host, Executive Producer, Director and Content Developer.Susan enjoyed a successful on-air career fronting programming for Discovery, Fox, ABC Sports, ESPN, USA Network, PBS, Travel, and HGTV. Her longtime association with Pie Town Productions, arguably one of the country’s preeminent reality production companies, dates to 1996 when she hosted Pie Town’s first venture, Great Country Inns as well as numerous HGTV programs. Following stints with PBS, Susan returned to Pie Town, as Director, Producer and Supervising Producer on the HGTV series House Hunters, House Hunters Renovation, Tiny House Hunters and most currently as Producer and Director on Food Network’s docuseries Summer Rush.An early adapter of streaming, Susan served as host and producer on the first LPGA Tour webcast as well as the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge in New York. As a play-by-play announcer, she became the first woman to do so at the US Open Tennis Championships and on LPGA Tour events. As a correspondent for the FOX series Beyond Tomorrow, Susan, based in Sydney, Australia, traveled the globe, taking complex science and technology issues and producing exceptional segments easily understood by the audience.A seasoned, versatile and savvy storyteller, Susan’s expertise includes sports, travel, medical, adventure travel, environmental, food and wine. In addition to her work in broadcast, Susan has an extensive background as a voiceover announcer and was the first female promo voice of ABC Sports.A native of Buffalo, NY, Susan grew up in a hockey household. Her father, Fred Hunt, spearheaded efforts to secure an NHL franchise for the Buffalo, NY market and served as the first Assistant General Manager of the Buffalo Sabres. After helming her own production company for five years, Scout Media, she has returned to those roots as Executive Producer of Lakeland Rose, LLC.
