Current• Sourcing of capital equipment, BO items, and raw materials needed for projects and routine work.• Creating comparing sheets, soliciting offers, floating inquiries, issuing purchase orders, and approving rate contracts.• Responsibilities include implementing and overseeing efficient procurement schedules in order to satisfy production goals.• Finding and cultivating prospective suppliers.• Using value engineering to guarantee the best quality at the intended price at the desired time.• Evaluation and improvement of suppliers through coordination with the quality department.• Ensure a strong inventory control system and that there are never any shortages of parts• Analyzing the rating and performance of the supplier.• Cost-cutting measures• Develop new vendors to improve overall purchase efficiency.• coordinating the timely distribution of drawings and DBO with the design team• Examine & analyze the design process.• Keep track of production progress and guarantee prompt delivery.• Create a production schedule and strategy in accordance with the agreed-upon delivery date.• Support the creation of new products and their improvements.• Maintain continuous information flow to management through production performance.
